I must be really crazy configuring WordPress and typing this post at 3AM. Got nothing really better to do and my gout’s been keeping me up all night. Not to mention that working on a laptop slowed me down a bit. Touchpads are the bane of computer users, at least mine can be disabled. I pity those who can’t.
Anyway, this blog is now hosted on 110mb.com. I’m fortunate enough to have an account with them. This will guarantee that my blog’s online 24/7. Since knightlust.com’s hosted on my workstation at home, it goes offline everyday at 1AM and turns on at 9AM. Utility bills are so expensive these days that I’ve got no choice but to turn it off for a few hours everyday.
So for the next couple of days, I’ll be working (though not exclusively) on my WordPress, configuring my theme while studying Sys Admin stuff. I’ll be spending most of my time learning various email server configuration, CMS/LMS (Joomla, Drupal, Moodle, Wordpres, PHPBB, SMF, etc.), Asterisk, SMS Gateways, Groupwares (eGroupware and Zimbra), Tiny ERP, Orange HRM, Sugar CRM, Compiere, Squid, BIND, IPTables, and setting up Chrooted shell accounts. I’ll be going through a lot of docs, man-pages, and eBooks. I just hope I can handle all of them in a short span of time.
I’m tired but I still need to read this link. I want to make sure that my WordPress is secure.
