Dropping Yahoo Messenger

This is an appeal to everyone who uses Yahoo Messenger.
DON’T USE YAHOO MESSENGER.
Just an hour ago, I’ve been buzzed by almost a dozen of my contacts – and they have no recollection of doing that. Guess what? Another virus or worm.
And because of this, I’ve deleted my Yahoo account from my Pidgin. You can no longer contact me via Yahoo.
You may, however, still contact me via Jabber (Google Talk) or Skype (which encrypts messages).
If you insist on retaining your Yahoo Messenger account, I implore you to use Pidgin or Trillian, anything besides Yahoo Messenger lest you become an annoyance to your buddies.
