Wherever I May Roam…

Hailstorms are the closest thing we have to actual snow. So when the City of Baguio announced a Snow Show this December, the residents were delighted and gave their all out support for this event (including me).

However, Murphy’s Law were in effect.

Hundreds, if not thousands, of residents and tourists alike gathered near Porta Vaga, where the snow machines were set up. The heat from the crowd was noteworthy and a few voiced their concerns. It’s also too early in the evening, the temperature’s not cold enough to sustain the snow. And finally, there’s only 2 snow makers setup, machines capable of indoor snow but sorely insufficient outdoors.

What happened next elicited boo’s from the crowd. It ain’t snow…. it’s like dust. We bought a fucking dust blower!

But we, the residents, are still hopeful. We’ll try again…
