The very much compliant Internet Explorer
Filed under: Development
Been tapped as a PHP/MySQL dev for a utility firm here in Baguio. I’ve been spending the last two weeks creating a customized MySQL (oh yeah, I convinced them to use MySQL on Ubuntu Gutsy Server alright) web-interface. And it sucks that my code has to work on IE. I already informed my Boss that we should block IE-users from accessing this site, unfortunately, most are MS-centric. And I have no choice but to make it available to a buttcrack app called Internet Explorer.
Maybe I can get this working by using tables – which defeats the purpose of using CSS. IE sure is standards-compliant alright… their own standards.
